2026 DRESS REHEARSALS / RECITAL AGREEMENT

PERFORMING IN OUR ANNUAL RECITAL DAY IS OPTIONAL. PLEASE NOTE: This is to make sure everyone is aware of our policies in advance.
I am aware that if my child(ren) is in a Shining Star and Rising Star Class, they are required to perform in the dress rehearsal at Monmouth Regional High School (on Friday, May 15, 2026) in order to perform in the recital. I understand that I will receive 1 dress rehearsal wristband and it will only be distributed after I purchase my recital tickets.(Required)
I am aware that if my child(ren) is in a Shooting Stars, Teens, Musical Theater or Hip-Hop Class, they will have mandatory in class dress rehearsals the week of May 4, 2026. Howell Dance Company will not be offering a dress rehearsal on May 15, 2026 at Monmouth Regional High School for these classes.(Required)
I understand that for the safety of the dancers there is no picture or video taking of any kind permitted at the recital shows on May 16, 2026. I have also been informed that all children, including babies, are required to have a ticket. The dancers will not need a ticket on recital day as they will remain backstage during the shows. Dancers are not permitted to leave during the shows.(Required)
I will be receiving one wristband (that must be worn) to drop off and pick up my child(ren) backstage on recital day. I will notify Howell Dance Company through email by April 30, 2026, if someone besides the child(ren)’s mom will be responsible for this.(Required)
I am aware that my child's hair must be a natural color (not teal, blue, pink, etc.) for dress rehearsals and recital. Dancers can wear light make-up (we do not want too much because we want dancers to look their age). Dancers are not to wear any jewelry (exception: small post earrings). No colored nail polish is allowed except for a French manicure.(Required)
I understand that if my child(ren) decide not to participate in the recital after their costume(s) have been ordered, the costume(s) must be picked up by March 2, 2026. After this date, the costume(s) will become the property of Howell Dance Company, no refunds will be issued, and the costume(s) will be donated to charity.(Required)
